Pickup basketball
I play regularly, mostly pickup games on weekends. It is my favourite way to stay active, and I make time for it whenever I can.

Title screen
Backend engineer at Veeam. Founder at Valkrix. Building both, on purpose.
At Veeam I build the systems that decide who gets to touch what data: access policy, audit trails, threat detection. At Valkrix, the AI product company I co-founded with two friends, I run operations as COO.
This is the route so far.
Four chapters, one very large acquisition, and three games you can actually play, each built on real work. Scroll to walk it in order, or pick any marker to jump there.

Chapter I
Islamabad2020 to 2024
A computer science degree, a medal, and three projects that got more ambitious every year.
FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, August 2020 to August 2024. My rule then is my rule now: if I don’t know how to do something, I get it done anyway and learn on the way.
Throw it to spin it. The back is engraved.
2021
A console app that scraped the websites of NUST, FAST and LUMS, sorted every word into nouns, verbs and adjectives, and graphed the most common nouns to compare how three universities talk about themselves.
2022
An Android game about climate. You make calls on the world’s problems, and every call moves biodiversity, population and your budget. It keeps going until the planet doesn’t.

ITrial I of III
What On Earth
A remake of my 2022 Android game: every choice moves the planet's numbers, until it is uninhabitable or you reach 2100.
Your brief
It is 2026 and the planet is yours to run. Ten decisions stand between now and 2100. Good ones cost money, bad ones pay, and time keeps passing either way. Keep all four gauges out of the red.
Click a choice, or Tab to it and press Enter. Drag the globe to turn it.
2023 to 2024
A fitness app that watches your form while you train. Pose estimation compares your posture with a trainer’s and tells you what to fix.

What the app sees
Test footage from the build. The skeleton is real MediaPipe output for these clips, and the angles are measured from it frame by frame.
IITrial II of III
Form Check
Based on Move: pose estimation compares your joints with a trainer's and tells you what to fix.
Trainer
Arm raise
Arms straight out to the sides, level with your shoulders.
60% match
Left forearm: move it higher.
Your brief
The trainer holds a pose. Move your figure’s hands, feet and hips until you match it, then hold. Four exercises, 20 seconds each, scored on joint angles the way Move scored real workouts.
Drag the five handles. With a keyboard, Tab to a handle and use the arrow keys.
Chapter II
Islamabad2024 to 2025
The job: deciding who gets to touch what data.
June 2024
Associate Software Development Engineer.
Back end, Data Access Control Policy team.
Access governance across three systems.
I helped build and maintain data access governance across SharePoint, Databricks and Snowflake, then built backup and restore for Databricks and Snowflake access policies.
July 2025
Promoted to Software Development Engineer.
Thirteen months in.
Then, three more.
Access control for Ranger-based systems: Apache Trino, Presto and Starburst. With the Quarantine team, a faster flow of operations. And a rebuilt data labeling policy flow that cut processing time for customers.
Access control sounds dry until you are the one deciding. Requests come in, the policy keeps changing, and one wrong “allow” is a breach.
IIITrial III of III
Gatekeeper
Based on my work at Securiti: access policies deciding who can read, write or delete which data.
Policy v1
Anything else is allowed.
Your brief
You are the access policy. 24 requests are coming, and the rules will change twice while you work. Allow what the policy allows and deny what it forbids. Three breaches and the shift is over.
Press A or the left arrow to deny, D or the right arrow to allow. Buttons work too.
December 2025
Then the map changed under my feet.
“The industry’s first trusted data platform for accelerating safe AI at scale.”
Veeam’s data resilience platform, combined with Securiti’s data security, governance and AI trust. My team and our codebase carried straight through. It wasn’t a job change. It was the same work under a new name.
Chapter III
Islamabad2025 to now
The current main quest. Same team, same codebase, a much bigger map.
Main quest, in progress
Since December 2025. Veeam’s data resilience platform and Securiti’s data security and governance are now one product family. Three things I have worked on so far:
Backup and snapshot policies
Integrated into the product.
Audit and event logs
Ingested from Veeam backup systems into the UI.
Threat detection
Helped develop a new framework, and the ingestion of threat logs from the Veeam product side.
Chapter IV
Islamabad2026
An AI product company, co-founded with two friends. I am its COO.

Same floor, left and right: The Forge and Valkrix. One is the company, the other is where it works.

Valkrix is an AI product company. We ship our own products, and build other people’s with the same senior team. Founder-led, engineer-heavy, and you see working software every week.
Three products, designed, built and operated by Valkrix.
Launching 2026
Visquire
Computer vision agent
Turns the CCTV a business already owns into an agent it can instruct in plain English, Urdu or Arabic. It watches for the rules it is given and calls the right person when one is broken.

Co-working platform
The co-working space in Islamabad and the platform that runs it: bookings, memberships and a 3D tour. We built it because we work in it every day.
theforge.pkSix disciplines we ship to production, backed by the full stack that carries them: cloud, web and mobile, security, and data.
Computer vision and video AI
Agents and LLM applications
Voice and multilingual AI
Edge and on-prem AI
Data and ML platforms

Our co-working space
DHA Phase II, Islamabad2026
A co-working space for people who would rather build than commute.

Owned and run by Valkrix. An open, air-conditioned, well-lit first-floor space for solo developers and teams of up to five, with fast Wi-Fi, a meeting room, a kitchenette, a lounge and solar power.

The house mascot. Move around it, and click for a hammer strike.
First floor, east side, Shauq 8 Plaza on Jinnah Boulevard.

Pull up a chair.

Away from work, this is who I am.
I play regularly, mostly pickup games on weekends. It is my favourite way to stay active, and I make time for it whenever I can.

I make my own coffee and post the results. Mostly rosettas so far. I am still working on a clean tulip.

Gaming has been a constant since I was a kid. I am drawn to games with a real narrative: less about winning, more about living through a story and seeing where it goes. Which is also why this site works the way it does.
On PS5, games like Elden Ring. On Switch, Zelda.
Running is the other constant alongside basketball. This one has a race date attached, November 2026, so the training is more structured than usual.

I am open to interesting problems, ambitious teams, and anyone who wants to talk shop. If you need something built and you are not sure it can be done, that is my favourite kind of message.
Progress saved. 0 of 12 trophies.
